Responsibilities:
- Order Intake and Verification: Accurately receive and input DME orders from healthcare providers, verifying that all necessary documentation and patient information is complete and correct.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure orders comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., insurance verification, patient eligibility, medical necessity) and internal policies.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact for healthcare providers, responding promptly to inquiries regarding order status, documentation, and compliance issues.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service to clients, ensuring a positive experience and resolving issues as they arise.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter order details into the company’s order management system, maintaining an organized record of all transactions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient order processing and delivery.
- Follow-Up: Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely fulfillment and address any delays or discrepancies.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to order accuracy, insurance verification, or compliance challenges in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on order status, including any issues or delays that may require escalation.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in DME order intake, medical billing, or a related healthcare field.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, DME products, and insurance verification processes.
- Familiarity with order management systems, EHR, and insurance portals.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote offshore environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations.
